The 20 Way Alarm card is capable of being installed up to 1km from the generator. With the 20 Alarm you are capable of monitoring all the parameters on the generator, but you cannot control the generator.

In addition the Card has indication lights on it allowing the card to be used without a PC. The 20 Alarm card is for installation on site where the monitoring is within 1km and cables can be run between the generator and the PC or office.

The cables are plugged directly into the generator and run to where the 20 Alarm Card will be placed. The Card can then be used as a stand alone unit with the LED light indicators or plugged into a PC via a PCI Com Port (RS232) Or via a USB to RS232 adapter cable.

It is not possible to plug the 20 Alarm card into a network as it plugs directly into the RS485 on the motherboard of the generator. If you require monitoring or control of the generator from more than 1km away or you are unable to run cables from the generator to the computer, Our PC Interface adapter or GSM options can be considered.

See the list below for the alarms available on the 20 Alarm Card.
