Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)

The ATS contains the switchgear between the mains and generating set. The panel is made up of 4-pole (or 3-pole) contactors or motorised circuit breakers depending on the power and current of the generating set.

The elements are mounted in a waterproof metal casing with a IP55 protection grade and contains the changeover switch, power terminals or bars, the terminals board for the generating set auxiliary command connections, magneto-thermal switch for the pre-heater protection (Installed in the generating set), a series of fuses to protect the mains Voltage and auxiliary lines and two pilot lights which signal the mains voltage and generating set voltage. It is all realised according to the environmental norms in force.
