REMOTE START AND STOP

The Remote Start option is used in conjunction with a Manual Transfer switch. It is a short range RF remote control which simply starts and stops your generator.

The generator can be started using the remote control, the Manual Change Over Switch moved from the mains position to neutral and then through to Generator as per the diagrams below. This will transfer the load from the mains to the generator which you have started using the remote.

This type on installation would typically be installed in a situation where an automatic transfer switch is not suitable, the generator is outside and the Manual Change Over is installed inside. The user can simply start the generator and switch over the manual switch to get power. The generator should always be allowed to warm up for a short time before load is transfered to it.
